The earthquake in Kobe in Jan 1995 was a
terrible disaster and it was exactly 14 years ago.
More than 6000 people died.
No military rescue was sent to Kobe and the area
for 3 days because of the slowest bureaucracy
with no heart in it.
My guess is that approx 3000 of them died
because of the slow reactions which was the
manmade disaster.
