Saw a young man with a sports bag sitting at
the bench in a depeartment store with a sports
bag.
I knew that he's having a problem.
He told me the long story, but in a nutshell that
his homestay host guy in Kagoshima basically
took his money away and kicked him out in the
midnight.
He came to Tokyo last week and have been
sleeping in an internet cafe.
I took him - Charles - to my house and he ate
all kinds of food including big pieces of brownie
at the end.
おとといのこと。
新宿で見た若者は困っているとすぐに分かった。
長い話だが、簡単に言えば鹿児島のホームステイ先で
約束の食事をもらえず、お金は 「 倍払え！」 と言われ
最後には放り出された20才のチャールズは先週、
東京へ来たばかり。
ずっとインターネット・カフェで寝ているという。
その晩、チャールズはエイジの家でシャワーを浴びて、
いーっぱい食べて、ケーキも山盛り食べて
故郷の家族に電話した。
宿がない外国の旅をした時、
エイジも助けてもらったり、助けてもらわなかったりした。
すべてはいい経験だった。
すべてがそろってる家にいると
学べないことがたくさんある。
