Today, received a letter from Keisuke a high
school student who wants to interview me.
Met him today and found him
exceptionally good in many ways.
インタビューを申し込んできた高校生のケイスケ君は、
とても賢い。
すぐに話がわかる。
言いたいことを、別の表現に置き換えるのも上手。
これはどう見ても先生たちよりはるかに賢い。
日本の学校の枠を超えている。
When I saw how his mother presented the tea
and a cake, I was sure that they had some
experience of living overseas.
笑顔のお母さんがお茶をくれたときに、なんとなくわかった
「 ああ、海外に住んだことのある家族だ 」
Keisuke spent three years in Zimbabwe when
he was in an elementary school.
ケイスケは小学校の３年間をジンバブエで過ごした。
「 大自然も見たけど、
英語を話せるようになったのがラッキーでした 」
He said that he is very lucky to have seen
elephants, other animals and great nature.
Also, he thinks that he is very fortunate to have
learned English.
Now, he wants to have a dog.
アフリカでたくさんの動物を見て育ったケイスケ君は
今、一緒に散歩するワンちゃんがほしくてたまらない。
会った瞬間に、「 野球で外野をやってたね 」
と、エイジが言ったら
「 どうしてわかるんですか？」 と、驚いていた。
