My friend Steve's father was a pilot in the Second
World War.
His plane was hit by Germans in Germany and the
smoking plane landed in Switzerland.
Steve's father miraculously survived.
When he watched a war movie, he said
" Steve, the air force and the war was exactly
like that. This movie is real. "
The movie he saw was " Twelve O'clock High "
with Gregory Peck and is directed by Henry King.
Gregory Peck is a flight commander and is
the most sane man in the bomber squadron,
but he gets damaged mentally heavily as he
gets involved too much in the war.
