On my way home from my elementary school,
I sometimes walked on the railroad with my friends.
Every step I made was fun.
Every step had a meaning.
Back then, every step had a lot to do with playing.
That's why we grow.

Back then, I thought that the end of this railroad
must be really far away.
By now, I have travelled much much further
than that.
However, at the same time, I haven't been
very far at all.
小さい頃、線路道を歩いて帰った。
一歩一歩が遊び。
学校で遊び、
帰り道で遊び、
帰ったら遊び、
あしたも遊ぶ。
あの頃、線路の行き先は遠いんだろうと思った。
これまでにもっともっと遠いところへ行った。
たくさん行った。

でも、大して遠くに行ってないのもほんと。
