I talk about Terry Fox everywhere I go.
What he did is something no one else can do.
When I fought in the boxing ring back in
May 2010 at the age of 49, I kept repeating
his name "Terry Fox. Terry Fox." in myself,
so that I could keep going.
Received today a thank you letter from Betty Fox,
mother of Terry who carried the Olympics flag at
the opening ceremony in Vancouver 2010.
テリー・フォックスの話をいろんなところでしている。
そうし始めて5年くらい経つ。
きょう、3日前に日本に着たというカナダの人から
電話があって、その人に会った。
その人は、直接手紙を持って来てくれた。
テリー・フォックスのお母さん、ベティ・フォックスさんからの
お礼と激励の手紙を。
ベティは、バンクーバー・オリンピックで大会旗を持って
先頭に立って入場した人。
