Eiji,

thank you so much for sharing your story!
It is wonderful to know you are safe with your
family again, and very special to hear how such
a dramatic day went for you.
I have always been against nuclear power,
and now it is very clear why.
We are hoping for the best for all of Japan,
and especially for all my friends there.
Please stay your wonderful optimistic self.
Keep me updated.

Peace!

Dear Eiji,

Thank you for your first hand news of experience during the earthquake.
I did not know if I can reach you by e-mail since there are so many problems that come with the disaster.
I'm so glad to hear that you and your family are all doing fine.
I called my sister the other night and they are also ok being in Kansai area.

At my hula class two days ago we prayed for Japan and those who suffered from the quake and tsunami, and again at our church we prayed for Japan and the people who were affected by the disaster.
Please take care and may God be merciful.....

Eiji,

Thank you for sending this,
I am sharing it on my facebook page
for all to see.
My thoughts and prayers continue to be
with you and your family, and all of Japan.

Hi Eiji:
Thank you for the link and the update. Glad to hear you and your family are doing ok. The pictures out of Sendai are horrific. Hard to believe I was in that beautiful part of your country so long ago.

Take care

Your Friend,

Hello Eiji,

Thank you for sharing your story with me.
We have been watching with sadness the devastation happening throughout your country.
It is unbelievable.
Please know that we are all thinking of you and
praying for the safety of you and
your family and friends.

----

Hello Eiji,

I hope you are okay now.
I was very touched by your story and want to thank you for sharing it.
I can only imagine your experience on March 11 and not knowing if your family was safe.
I was very glad to read that everyone was not harmed and I hope things are getting somewhat better for everyone.
The US television news kept talking about how well-built the Japanese buildings were to withstand earthquakes otherwise there would have been many more casualties.

Today, we heard that the situation with the nuclear reactors is getting worse as you predicted in your story.
I agree with your mindset about no-nukes.
In 1979, I was in New York City during the Three-Mile Island disaster and I ended up marching in the streets with a very large group of demonstrators. I just happened to be there on a college trip and I got to experience this first-hand.
Needless to say, the incident influenced me to become an anti-nuclear person at a young age.

Please take care and let us know it there is anything we can do from over here.
