子供たちへ ：
When I stay in a hotel for a few nights,
I tell them that I can use the same
towels for 3 days and I don't need
the clean-up of the room, so that they
can save some energy, water etc.
I did the same in Shizuoka, Japan
near Mt. Fuji.
But they still left a whole package of
new towels, pajamas, toothbrush,
soap and so on.
I returned it to them, but I just felt
that they were nice and caring.
ホテルに泊まるとフロントや掃除の人に言うのは
－ タオルは、3日くらいは、同じのでいい
－ 部屋の掃除もしなくていい
・・ 水や電気が節約できるし、何十もの部屋を
きれいに掃除するのは大変だろうなと思うから。
このホテルでもそう言ったけど、新しいタオルや
石鹸や歯ブラシや全部を袋に入れて置いてて
くれた。
全部そのまま返したけど、
思いやりを感じて気持良かった。
