Iwao Otomo was my first student boxer
who became Japan's national champ.
Later on, he won OPBF (Oriental and
the Pacific Boxing Federation) lightweight
title as well.
He was ranked #3 of the world.
25 years later in May 2012, Japan's
Boxing Magazine made this page,
dedicated to the true figter.
At lectures all over the world, I talk
about him and it inspires lots of people.
He is the main character in my recent
book called "Never Been Knocked Out".
I wrote a movie script as well.

1987年1月22日、大友巌選手が日本タイトルを
9ラウンド、ノックアウトで獲ってくれた。
大友のトレーナーだったエイジの
人生最良の日のひとつ。
ボクサーに限らず、出会った素晴らしい男たちの
おかげで、それ以来、たくさんの夢がかなった。
去年出た本 【 KOされない男たち 】 の中で
彼がどんなにすごかったかを書いてる。
