Great musical shows

Good books, good movies, good musical shows

.. of course, you'll be moved and will be impressed.

But most of the cases, you are not really

understanding the depth of each word,

each sound, each color and each silence unless

you really live your every day life on the edge as

if you were doing a tightrope walk in the storm

with your eyes closed and yet you're doing so

in order to be of use to other people and

for the better future.

Probably, you're seeing about 0.6% of what

the creator stuffed up in there.

You will know what I mean if you change

significantly the way you live now and keep

changing as you try new places to live or

travel to new lands for 10 years and then,

read the book again or watch the same show.

You'll realize that you knew nothing

10 years ago.

It's interesting how those who understand

0.6% only believe that she/he understands

everything and they're teaching in schools

in little towns.

Little towns are filled with that kind of people.

Ignorance is bliss.

いい本、映画、ミュージカル … もちろん感動する。

でも、その中の言葉、ひとつの音、色、わずかな

沈黙に込められた奥深い意味は、作者の意図の

0.6% もわかってないはず。それは、

毎日、嵐の中を目隠しして綱渡りをするように、

甘い自分に徹底的に挑み、同時に世界を

良くするために行動してないから、わからない。

舞台に見る孤独を自分の孤独の

5分の1くらいに実感しないと。

自分をガラリと変え、世界の知らないところに

ひとりで旅し、住む場所を変えるのを10年続けた

後に同じ本、同じ一流の舞台を見たときにわかる。

自分が10年前はなんにもわかってなかったことが。

面白いことに なんにもわかってない人が

わかったつもりで人に講義したりしてる。

小さい町や国はそういう人達で構成されてる。

無知は幸せ。
