These lyrics are from Edwin Starr's number one hit song "War" in 1970.
At some of the UNWC (United Nations of World Children) events in Japan, I asked some participants who are over 70 years old the same question "Was there any good thing about war?". There wasn't even a split second before they answered "Absolutely nothing". They shook their heads and shut their mouths very tight.
Children who were participating got that idea straight away.
