Hey! I'm very happy to be in Victoria now. Today's journey started when the airline phoned last night at 10:00 pm saying my morning flight was cancelled due to fog, and I would need to catch the airline bus at 4:30 am to be taken to another airport 2 hours away. Everything worked well and the airline staff took care of everyone well.
Victoria is truly a very beautiful place - beautiful snow capped mountains, ocean and green trees in winter. As soon as I arrived I walked to the supermarket - what did I buy? Happy to see they still have some LL sized Japanese oranges. Even large sized mikans are shipped to Canada. Next - wild smoked salmon [dinner], plus some frozen mixed vegetables, and potato chips. Sorry no time to cook today............then I just returned from a 10 minute soak in the hot tub [spa]! Ah! a wonderful end to the day! I met the "social club" at the "Club House" and told them we'd like to have a baking and udon party when my friends come. Hopefully I'll have some pictures soon..........Enjoy your day.
