From the President to the Boss

子供たちへ　：

Obama said as he honored Bruce Springsteen
- along with Robert De Niro and Mel Brooks -
earlier this month in Dec 2009 at Kennedy Center.「 わたしは、大統領だが彼は " ボス " ですよ 」
ケネディ・センター名誉賞は、オバマによって
ブルース・スプリングスティーン、ロバート・デニーロ、
メル・ブルックスらに渡された。
（ "ボス" とはブルース・スプリングスティーンのあだ名 ）

I met Mr. Springsteen in 1985 and talked a few
minutes with him and I'm the luckiest guy.

He has been donating some $50.000 to every
town he went in the world to some group of
hard-working and struggling people for hope
and dreams.エイジは、1985年にブルースに会って15分位、話をした。
コンサートには、ヨーロッパやアメリカ・カナダなど
ちょうど20回行った。
本当にラッキーだった。

In his school days, teachers treated him like a
dog and he suffered a lot.ブルースは、世界の町でコンサートをするたびに
その町の苦しんでいる人たちに500万円ずつの
寄付をしている。
歌っては、救済活動をし、今まで何十兆円もの寄付を
してきた。

彼は、学校ではえらい目に遭い、先生に
「 お前はゴミ箱に入れ 」 と言われたり
「 こいつを殴れ 」 と、先生は下級生に命令して
わざと小さな生徒に大きなブルースを殴らせたりもした。

音楽を信じたことで救われた彼は
オバマ大統領の就任式でも歌った。

recognized or even understood by the small
people who are narrow-minded.

He was recognized by the bigger people in the
bigger world.いつも正義を歌ったから、アメリカの警察庁からボイコットされ
戦争に反対したから、政府からにらまれ続け
国から迫害されてきた人が
新しい大統領の就任式で世界の希望を歌う。
どんなに政府に嫌われても、いつも市民は彼の味方。

市民なくして国も大統領もない。

正義は勝つ。

Golden Boy

" Golden Boy " Oscar De Ha Hoya announced
his retirement in April 2009.

「 ボクシングのおかげで世界に友達ができた 」
「 ボクシングがボクの世界を広くしてくれた 」
「 ボクシングがすべてを教えてくれた 」
と、8か月前の2009年4月に引退を決めた名選手
オスカー・デラ・ホーヤ。「 ボクシングとは情熱だよ。
　情熱があるから闘えるんだ。
　情熱がなくなったら痛い目に遭うね 」" Boxing is passion. Passion makes you fight. "

I saw his fight against Pernell Whitaker in April
1997 in Las Vegas and I am lucky to have seen
this many fight.

エイジは、1997年4月にオスカーの試合をラスベガスで観た。
相手は、パーネル・ウィテカー。
エイジの選手で東洋チャンピオンの大友が世界を狙った時から
チャンピオンだった。
世界には、すごい男たちがいる。
彼らの特徴は 「 メチャクチャさわやかで、メチャクチャいい奴ら 」

新年が来る

子供たちへ　：

新年は、毎年必ず来る。
大人は、ちっとも変わらないけど。
おそらく、もっとずるくて汚れるだけ。

NHK studio

子供たちへ　：

外国語でも日本語でも必ず意味やスペルを確認しよう。

This is a special program on NHK - Japan's
national broadcaster - and it was shot in
their own studio.The street sign in the back is probably
meant to say " Studio ".「 スタジオ 」 を意味しているんだろうけど
[ Stadio ] だって。
これは NHK の特別番組。

有名大学を出たり
コネで入ったり　( ものすごく悪いことしたのに、
　今も [ 横綱審議員会の会長 ] をやってる海老沢
　元 NHK 会長の息子も NHK 。 )

・・　しても中学英語もできない。
ディレクターもプロデューサーも助手もカメラマンも
出演者もわからないらしい。I saw NHK spelling " Collaboration "
" Coraboration "on the TV screen also.
Many others, I've seen ..

以前は [Collaboration] を [Coraboration] と
字幕に出していた。
そんなのはしょっちゅう。

放送の字幕とかにまちがいがあるとテレビでは
数秒後に謝るけど、NHK は誰も気づきもしないから
謝らない。
謝られても困るけど。

Delivery service

The letter " C " on the tag placed on the
counter in an international hotel in Tokyo
must have been fading away and someone
fix it to say " Servise " instead of " Service ". 札に書かれた文字が消えかかっていたんだろう。
誰かが直したのは [ s ] で [ servise ] になった。
[ service ] が正しい。
ここは大きなホテル。

世界を見てきて役立つ先生に。

Teachers must know about the world
if they want to do their job right.

Bureaucrats work hard

Japanese bureaucrats and civill servants
are doing their job very well.

Their job is to do nothing.

Real teachers

子供たちへ　：

To Children :

Real teachers are outside the schools.
本当の先生は、外にいる。If you really a "grown-up", you can't help
teaching children about the world.真の大人なら子供たちに
広く正しい世界のことを伝えたいはず。

Bad teachers

A wrong teacher.
A poisonous creature.

A daily torture.
Very dark future.

Schools are fun

子供たちへ　：

学校の授業は、本当は楽しくあるべき。
新しい知識を得るんだから。
本当は、学校ほど楽しい場所は他にないほどに　・・
Future teachers aren't sure
if they can teach all right.楽しい授業ができない人には教師を辞めてもらおう。
クッキングできないシェフをレストランに置かないもんね。Children are the customers at schools
although boring teachers act like sergeants.シェフ (教師) は客 (子供たち) が選ぶべき。
Schools and learnings are supposed to be
great fun.
